WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, the Salinas, California, race track, has named April Henderson as director of the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Monterey Pre-Reunion and Corkscrew Hillclimb, adding on to her existing role as the facility's vice president of events.  

In this role, Henderson will serve as the public-facing ambassador and spokesperson for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and lead the event's overall planning and execution. She will work alongside the event's Advisory Council to organize the annual vintage racing event.

Her day-to-day responsibilities will include event scheduling, program development, stakeholder coordination, staff and volunteer oversight, feature marque management, paddock layout and more. 

Henderson joined WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in July of 2023 as director of operations before being promoted to vice president of events earlier this year. With more than 10 years of event management experience, Henderson previously served as program and events manager at Kahn Media and senior marketing and sponsorship manager for The Quail Lodge & Golf Club.
